How We Approach Hoarder Clearance

Hoarder clearance requires a different approach to standard house clearance. We never arrive with a skip and start loading. Instead, we begin with a conversation to understand the situation, the scale of the clearance needed, and most importantly, the pace at which you want to work. Some clients want everything gone in one visit. Others prefer to work through the property over several sessions. We accommodate either approach.

We sort everything carefully, setting aside anything you want to keep, and we only dispose of items once you have given us clear instruction.

What Happens to Items We Remove

We sort all items into categories: items to keep, items to donate, items to recycle, and genuine waste. Usable furniture and household goods go to local charities and community organisations. Recyclable materials are separated and sent to appropriate recycling facilities. Only genuine non-recyclable waste goes to disposal. This approach means far less ends up in landfill than with a skip-based clearance.
